About the program:
Leading Through Volatility: Do Mission, Culture and Values Create Competitive Advantage?
Boards today face an increasingly volatile operating environment shaped by geopolitical uncertainty, technological disruption, workforce transformation, regulatory pressure, and rapidly shifting stakeholder expectations. As the pace of change accelerates, boards and management teams are often required to make consequential decisions faster and with less certainty than ever before.
This interactive boardroom conversation explored whether organizations that are genuinely grounded in their mission, culture, and values may be better positioned to navigate disruption, maintain strategic clarity, and make difficult decisions with greater speed, consistency, and resilience.
Through a conversational exchange of ideas and practical examples, Annalisa Barrett, Senior Advisor with KPMG’s Board Leadership Center, and Jeff Hoffman, an experienced corporate executive and board leader with deep expertise in corporate responsibility, stakeholder engagement, sustainability, and governance, examined what may distinguish organizations that remain aligned and resilient during periods of disruption from those that struggle to navigate change effectively. John Driver, President of the NACD Pacific Southwest Chapter and CEO of Lynx Technology, moderated the discussion.
This event was limited to the first 50 NACD Members who registered.
