

Andy Lanik
Director
Andy Lanik is an audit partner and lead KPMG’s Minneapolis audit practice specializing in serving not for profit entities. In addition, Andy is the leader of our upper Midwest health care practice, and part of KPMG’s Healthcare Audit Leadership team. With 28 years of experience serving healthcare organizations in Iowa, Minnesota, and Missouri, Andy has served physician practices, critical access hospitals, specialty hospitals, academic tertiary referral centers, health plans, large integrated healthcare systems, and a diagnostic imaging company.
Andy has spent his entire career serving not-for-profit healthcare organizations, PE owned healthcare entities and not-for-profit organizations. Additionally, he has experience with cost report preparation, debt issuances, forecasting, merger and acquisition activities, internal controls reviews and third-party reimbursement consulting.
Andy has served as a developer and an instructor for a number of KPMG national training courses and participated in the internal peer review program at KPMG as well as the external program of reviewing another Big Four firm.
Andy also serves or has served as engagement quality control reviewer (EQCR) for several of KPMG’s healthcare systems and not-for-profit organizations ensuring that the audit and financial reporting standards are properly followed.
Andy is a Board member of Twin Cities Rise. He is also a Board member and Finance Committee Chair of the Franklin Center. He has a BA from Boston College and is a licensed CPA in Minnesota and Nebraska.
