Welcome Tonisha Landry, new Executive Director, NACD Florida!

Tonisha is a proven strategic operations and events executive with more than 20 years of experience leading high-impact programming, stakeholder engagement, and organizational transformation for mission-driven organizations, professional associations, and global networks. She previously served as Product Owner and Director of Conference Programming for The Institute of Internal Auditors, where she led a global conference portfolio generating more than $20 million in annual revenue. 

Throughout her career, Tonisha has built a reputation for combining strategic vision with exceptional execution. Her background includes leadership roles with Catalyst, Points of Light, and the City of Jacksonville. 

Tonisha is also an experienced governance and nonprofit leader. She currently serves as Immediate Past President of the PCMA Southeast Chapter and previously served on the boards of The Florida Theatre and Girls Inc. Jacksonville. Her work reflects a strong commitment to leadership development, member engagement, and building meaningful professional communities. Colleagues consistently describe her as proactive, solutions-oriented, calm under pressure, and highly effective at aligning strategy with execution. 

Tonisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Florida A&M University and additional postgraduate coursework in Data Visualization and Communication from Agnes Scott College.
