Sheena Majette
Director, Event Operations
Sheena Majette is the director of event operations for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). She oversees the planning and execution of all live and virtual NACD education programs and specialty events. Prior to NACD, she served as the CEO for SLM Education Solutions and the Chief Learning Officer for the National Association of College Auxiliary Services.
Majette is an award-winning event industry executive and has worked in leadership roles in the conferences and events industry for various associations for over 25 years. She has developed and launched leadership events that received high satisfaction ratings and doubled budgeted revenue and attendance. She was instrumental in the development of an e-University which increased brand awareness, membership engagement, and educational outreach. She served as Co-Author, Examining the Rationale and Processes Behind the Development of AMDA’s Competencies for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, Annals of LTC, Vol.22(11), 37-39.
Majette was honored by the Connect Association as one of the top 15 over 50 event industry professionals and received an Excellence in Education Award from the Global Forum for Education and Learning. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Management from Morgan State University.
