Julie Pitts

Senior Director, Chapter Network

Julie Pitts is NACD's Senior Director, Chapter Network. She brings over 20 years of executive and relationship-focused experience in membership, education, governance, and service-based companies. She’s held a variety of roles at NACD since 2011 focused on chapter growth and engagement and currently oversees the Chapter Network team and support to over 400-chapter board members and operational staff.  Julie provides critical strategic support connecting the National organization and its teams and resources to NACD's 22 chapters to transform and enhance member value through world-class chapter programs and peer-to-peer engagement bringing powerful governance ideas to life in the 35+ local markets NACD serves. 

Julie also serves the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star – Houston Regional Board as the Nominating and Governance Chair, Houston Tutorial Association as founder and chair, is a former board member, and current executive advisor to the Mission of Yahweh Homeless Shelter and is the primary advisor for their GED® community program partnership. She holds a B.B.A. in International Business and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma.
