Anita Narayan is the editor in chief at NACD. Overseeing the Storytelling team, she is responsible for the quarterly Directorship magazine, a member-only publication offered in print and online; weekly online exclusives; and the monthly BoardVision™ podcast, available on the NACD website and via Apple and Spotify. Collaborating with members as well as staff and external contributors, Narayan ensures that the NACD editorial content provides directors with thought leadership, commentary, and actionable insights. She brings more than two decades of professional experience to NACD, including editorial leadership roles at CNN and U.S. News & World Report and marketing/communications roles in the travel industry and international education; she also served on the board of a higher education-focused nonprofit. Narayan holds a BA in international studies and English from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MA in Asian Studies from The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs.
