Nichol Garzon-Mitchell is chief legal officer, corporate secretary, and SVP of corporate development at Glass Lewis, where she leads legal, compliance, regulatory affairs, and corporate development worldwide, and has helped scale the firm from a startup proxy advisor into a global governance SaaS leader through international expansion and M&A. She also serves on the boards of the firm’s international subsidiaries.
Garzon-Mitchell is a member of the advisory board of the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia Law School, a committee member of the Best Practice Principles Group, and a member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association. She was named one of the Association of Latino Professionals for America's Top 50 Most Powerful Latinas in 2024 and one of Diligent's 100 Modern Governance Leaders in 2022, as well as a Millstein Center Rising Star of Corporate Governance.
She holds an LL.M from Northwestern's Pritzker School of Law and a JD from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico.
