Board: Farmer Mac (Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation), Yakima Chief Hops

Kevin Riel is president of Double 'R' Hop Ranches, Inc., which grows hops for the brewing industry. He currently serves on the board of Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation and chairs their Human Capital and Compensation Committee. He also serves as chair of the board of Yakima Chief Hops, the largest supplier of hops in North America.

Previously, he was a director of Northwest Farm Credit Services, where he served as chair for two years. In 2014, Riel was elected to the board of CoBank, a cooperative finance company. He served as chair of the CoBank board and of the executive committee from 2018 to 2021.

Riel holds a BS in computer information systems from Central Washington University, as well as Farm Credit Council (FCC) Premier Governance Series and NACD Directorship certifications.
