Joanna Burkey is a corporate director, former cybersecurity and technology executive, and founder of Flat Rock Advisory. She serves on the boards of CorVel Corporation (Nasdaq: CRVL), Neighborhood Intelligence, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXH0, where she chairs the technology committee, and ReliabilityFirst Corporation, where she chairs the finance and audit committees, as well as NACD’s Texas TriCities Chapter.

Burkey founded Flat Rock Advisory, where she advises global enterprises on digital transformation, cybersecurity, and AI strategy. She holds certificates in applied AI from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business, and finance and accounting from Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is NACD Directorship Certified and a Qualified Technology Expert through Digital Directors Network. She was a fellow with the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC.
