James Turley is former chair and CEO of EY, where he led the global organization from 2001 until his retirement in 2013. He currently serves on the boards of Citigroup Inc., where he chairs the audit committee; Emerson Electric Co., where he serves as nonexecutive board chair; Northrop Grumman Corp., where he is lead independent director; and Precigen Inc., where he chairs the compensation committee. He also serves on the boards of private companies including Kohler Co. and ArchBridge Family Office, where he is non-executive chair.

A graduate of Rice University with undergraduate and master's degrees in accounting, Turley is a former university trustee. His civic and philanthropic leadership includes service with the Boy Scouts of America, The Muny, Forest Park Forever, Concordance, and Catalyst.
