Holly J. Gregory is co-leader of Sidley Austin's global Corporate Governance practice and its Crisis Management and ESG teams. Recognized in the NACD Directorship 100 each year for the past 20 years, she is ranked in the top band of governance counsel by Chambers.

Gregory counsels public, private, and non-profit boards and senior management on governance, crisis management, investigations, and other complex matters. She has advised organizations including the Business Roundtable on its 2019 Statement on the Purpose of the Corporation and has worked with university boards and special committees on high-profile governance matters.

Gregory played a key role in drafting the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance and has advised the European Commission and the OECD/World Bank Global Corporate Governance Forum on governance policy. She also drafted the NACD Key Agreed Principles of Corporate Governance and was a special advisor to the NACD Commission on The Future of the American Board. She chairs the board of the American College of Governance Counsel.
