With more than 20 years of experience in technology leadership, Christa Quarles is known for guiding organizations through periods of growth, operational change, and market evolution.

Quarles joined Parallels in 2020, where she is CEO and serves on the board of directors.

She also has served as CEO of OpenTable and was chief business officer at Nextdoor. She has held senior leadership roles at The Walt Disney Co. and was chief financial officer of Playdom prior to its acquisition by Disney.

Quarles currently serves on the boards of directors of Affirm and Kimberly-Clark. She is the lead independent director and chairs the nominating and governance committee and sits on the compensation committee at Affirm. She also sits on the nominating and governance and compensation committees at Kimberly-Clark.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and German from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s in business administration from Harvard Business School.
