Chris Brandon leads the CxO and Board Advisor team for Worldwide Financial Services firms at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he partners with NACD to educate directors on AI governance and strategy. Over the past six years, he has helped more than 150 enterprises build, modernize, scale, secure, and realize value through AWS Cloud and AI Services.

Prior to AWS, he successfully led Barclays Bank’s mainframe-to-AWS migration and modernizationof its settlement and clearing systems. He has 30 years of experience in financial services and fintech and works with financial services regulators on market resilience and AI Controls.

A serial entrepreneur and former start-up CEO, CTO, and COO, Brandon has achieved three venture-backed exits to Akami and Oracle. He holds a BS in electrical and computer engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
