Beth Boland served as president and chair of the New England Chapter of NACD since 2016 and advises corporations on shareholder litigation risks through her longtime chairmanship of the Securities Enforcement & Litigation Practice and other senior management roles at Foley & Lardner. Boland has served as an independent board member for the Massachusetts Technology Corporation and the state lottery, and as president of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts. She currently co-chairs the reelection campaign for Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, and was one of the key business and civic leaders who steered the state’s celebration of the country’s 250th birthday. In recognition of her service, Boland has been repeatedly named one of the “Most Powerful Business People in Boston” by the Boston Business Journal, perennially listed as one of the “Most Influential Bostonians” by Boston magazine, and inducted into the inaugural Lawyers’ Hall of Fame class by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
