Boards: Backblaze, Omniscient Neurotechnology (o8t), Oneview Healthcare

Barbara Nelson is a public board director, chair, and C-level technology executive who serves on three boards. She has been responsible for global profit and loss (P&L) as large as $3 billion, twice as CEO, for companies ranging from venture-capital–funded startups to Fortune 500 leaders.

Nelson has extensive board and P&L experience in AI, software as a service (SaaS)/information as a service (IaaS), cybersecurity, biotech and health care, data management and storage, mobile, semiconductors, video, and consumer electronics.

Barbara is an independent director and chair of the nominating and governance committee for Backblaze, an independent provider of IaaS/SaaS storage for AI workflows. She is the chair of o8t, which provides a highly differentiated AI platform for brain connectivity used in neurosurgery, and chair of Oneview Healthcare, which offers an integrated hospital platform including AI-enabled virtual care. On all her current boards she serves on the audit committee.
