Alka Gupta is an experienced, independent public company director with expertise in scaling digital businesses globally. A former Fortune 500 executive, technology CEO, and entrepreneur, she serves on the boards of National Bank Holding Corp. (audit and risk, compensation, and emerging tech committees) and Digital Frontiers (chair). Prior board roles include Dwolla Payments (chair, risk committee; stockholder representative advisory committee), MoneyGram (compliance and ethics committee), GlobaliD (chair), Affinity Circles, and Hiro Finance (Adv. Board, acq. OpenAI). Her board contributions span digital transformation, risk oversight, technology-enabled growth, emerging product strategy, cybersecurity, and market expansion.

Previously, Gupta was a venture partner at Fin Capital, cofounder and CEO of GlobaliD, and senior executive at eBay/PayPal, Retrevo, and Lycos. 
Gupta earned a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School and a bachelor of science from Case Western Reserve University.
