Herzog is a board director and C-Suite executive with more than 25 years of broad technology experience in multinational companies, having worked across the U.S. and other countries. Currently, she is chief legal officer and board secretary of Elastic, responsible globally for legal, regulatory, compliance, and public affairs matters, and providing strategic counsel to the CEO, board, and leadership team on many corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues. 

Before Elastic, Herzog was executive vice president, general counsel (GC), board secretary, and chief compliance officer (CCO) for Arm Ltd. Before Arm, she was vice president, deputy GC, and CCO for Symantec, which she joined through the acquisition of AXENT Technologies, where she was GC. Before her legal career, she worked in The World Bank’s Africa department.

Herzog served on several nonprofit and advisory boards. She is recognized for business leadership, including in 50 Women to Watch for Boards and Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology.
