

Jerry Bregg
Director
Jerry Bregg is a seasoned professional in the technology and life sciences industries with 27 years of experience working with both private and publicly held companies. He was a regional tax leader in the technology industry practice for BDO and continues his passion for these innovative industries as a private consultant.
Bregg began his career as an international tax professional with Arthur Andersen in their San Diego office and later continued with Deloitte. During his time at Deloitte, Bregg started serving life-science companies within the vibrant San Diego biotech community. His public accounting career eventually led him to BDO, where he held various leadership roles, including office managing partner of BDO Salt Lake City’s tax office.
In the technology industry, Bregg was a senior leader and head of tax for Cricket Wireless, a $3 billion annual revenue publicly traded company. In this role, he was a sub-certifying officer of the company’s US Securities and Exchange Commission filings, which marked the beginning of his experience with corporate governance. Bregg also led the tax function in the sell-side integration of AT&T’s $1.2 billion acquisition of Cricket Wireless.
Bregg has served on several nonprofit boards and currently chairs the external advisory board for the University of Utah’s School of Accounting.
In addition to his consulting work, Bregg is a visiting instructor at the University of Utah, where he teaches international tax and several other courses to master of accounting students.
