Elyse Brody is Executive Director, Global Financial Planning and Analysis and Strategy for MSA Safety Incorporated (NYSE: MSA), a global leader in the development, manufacture, sale, and service of innovative solutions that enhance the safety and health of workers and protect facility infrastructures. With annual sales of $1.8 billion and global operations in more than 40 locations, MSA’s safety solutions protect more than 40 million workers around the world in a range of end markets including energy, fire service, construction, industrial and utilities.

Ms. Brody is a dynamic and forward-thinking finance executive specializing in FP&A, investor relations, corporate strategy, and enterprise risk management. Known for her expertise in financial strategy and communications, Ms. Brody leverages her financial acumen and creativity to design and execute global value creation
programs that enhance growth, profitability, and cash flow. By effectively
communicating to varied audiences, she demystifies complex financial topics to mobilize cross-functional groups toward a long-term vision.

In her current role, Ms. Brody is responsible for leading MSA’s global financial analysis process, performance management, annual and long-range planning, forecasting, capital deployment evaluations, and enterprise risk management program. She has extensive experience analyzing M&A opportunities through both a strategic and financial lens. She has led the deployment of new technology, reporting, and change management strategies to enhance insight to key trends
and expand FP&A services globally. In addition to her financial responsibilities, Ms. Brody oversees MSA’s corporate strategy work, including strategy development and refinement, and overall strategic execution. In this regard, she helps MSA establish strategic priorities, as well as a cadence of review and the integration of these priorities into the company’s planning processes.

Ms. Brody served as MSA’s Interim Chief Financial Officer from March 2025-August 2025 during a C-suite transition. In this capacity, she led the renegotiation of a credit facility that provides the company with access to more than $1.3 billion of capital. Under Ms. Brody’s leadership, MSA completed a $200 million acquisition of a German-based process controls manufacturer as well as a $20 million real-estate expansion in Cranberry Township. 

Prior to leading the Global FP&A function, Ms. Brody was Director of Investor Relations for MSA. Under her tenure, she successfully designed and executed investor relations strategies that supported MSA’s growth trajectory from a small-cap to mid-cap stock. Prior to joining MSA, she worked in Deloitte’s audit and assurance practice, serving both public and private companies across a broad range of industries.

Ms. Brody is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business law from The Pennsylvania State University, and earned an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
