Knowledge/expertise, relationships with fellow board members and management, inquisitive questioning, humility, good listener, preparedness for meetings and engagement.

City - definitely love to explore the culture and beauty of cities domestically and aboard

Ensure you cut out all the noise and that you are seeking to understand by listening and inquisitive questioning.
 

In your experience, what differentiates great board chairs?

- Engagement. 
- Respecting the role you have as a board member and that of management. 
- Always be attentive to be able ask the relevant questions vs just asking for the sake of asking a question.
