If you could give yourself advice on your first day as a board member, what would it be?

Challenge is where opportunity resides...but ask and listen first. 

What's the most memorable trip you've ever taken?

First expat assignment landing in Algiers, Algeria...I've never imagined for such a beautiful land with rich culture and eagerly to learn professional youngsters in this North Africa region. 

From your perspective, what are some key traits that the most effective board members possess?

Curiosity, perseverance, compassion 

If you could instantly become an expert in any skill or subject, what would it be?

Cost efficiency, quality revenue and governance effectiveness of U.S. and/or global finance operation…the three essential elements for operation success is my core competence for value contribution 

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

失败是成功之母...failure is the birth to success

What's the most interesting or unusual job you've ever had?

Had led commercial finance of Aero Tech. in Energy/PowerGen in America and EMEA markets enabled me to deliver a major finance transformation for another U.S. legacy-automobile manufacturer's great China operation was the most rewarding experience!

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?

Jesus if possible...his creation of Christianity is the longest lasting and standing institution in the world. How incredible!

What's your favorite way to relax and unwind?

Cooking and cleaning; plus watching Chinese sitcoms.
