Susan Holliday is an independent board director and trusted adviser to boards and management. She has over 30 years of experience in global financial services, specializing in insurance, strategy, and risk in both developed and emerging markets. Holliday has worked in several areas of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and World Bank, and prior to that was a managing director at Swiss Re, serving as head of strategy for Swiss Re’s global reinsurance business, CFO of Reinsurance Client Markets, and group head of investor relations. She has served as a board director in the UK, US, Brazil, Nigeria and India, including chairing audit and risk committees, with a focus on regulated financial services. Holliday is a chartered accountant and a qualified risk director of the DCRO Institute. She also holds the HBS Corporate Director Certification and the NACD Director Certification.
