Richard H. Girgenti is the CEO of IDPL Consulting, LLC, where he provides risk management, strategic consulting, and executive coaching for executives, boards, and organization interested in improving performance with integrity. He previously served as a partner at KPMG, where he was a board director and led the firm’s U.S. and Americas Forensic Advisory practice. In this role, he supported clients globally in conducting investigations, developing compliance programs, and managing crises. 

Earlier in his career, Rich was a senior prosecutor in Manhattan and served as New York State Director and Commissioner of Criminal Justice Services. He currently sits on the boards of Consilient—an AI federated learning company focused on combating financial crime in the financial services sector—and the John Jay College Foundation. His recent board roles include Vice Chair of K2 Integrity, Program Chair of the NACD New York Chapter, and board member of both the Citizens Crime Commission of New York City and the Economic Crime Institute. 

A recognized thought leader in ethics, compliance, and economic crime, Rich is the co-author of two influential books:
