Marc DeMoss serves as Head of Product at Morningstar, where he oversees the company’s AI platform – the Morningstar Intelligence Engine – as well as its API and content licensing business – Morningstar Direct Web Services. DeMoss has managed a number of Morningstar product lines since joining the company in 2007, including Mornignstar.com, its retail subscription website, in addition to its global data, research, and market data licensing businesses.

He has also held positions in business development, product management, and marketing, where he developed the firm’s equity research products and business footprint in North America. From 2011-2014, he focused on expanding the company’s research licensing business in Europe. 

DeMoss serves on the board of directors of The Joffrey Ballet and in 2020 was named to Crain's Notable LGBTQ Executives by Crain's Chicago Business.

He holds a bachelor's degree with honors in economics from the University of Chicago.
