Lyndon Park is Managing Director for J.P. Morgan’s Shareholder Engagement and M&A Capital Markets (“SEAMAC”) group. He closely advises boards and management teams on matters related to shareholder activism, contentious M&A, and complex proxy and governance issues. Park was formerly a stewardship leader at BlackRock and Dimensional Fund Advisors, for whom he developed, oversaw, and led portfolio company engagement, proxy voting, and stewardship activities. He also founded a boutique activism defense and shareholder advisory practice at ICR and quickly shepherded the group to be ranked as one of the top strategic activism advisors in Bloomberg’s activism league tables. Park started his career in governance, supporting BlackRock’s board of directors as a member of the firm’s corporate secretarial team. Park frequently contributes his perspectives in events and panels as well as relevant articles and thought pieces published by leading press and media.
