Jerry Burris is the current president, CEO, and director of PolyShield Group. Previous management positions include president and CEO, Associated Materials Inc.; segment president, Barnes Group Inc.; and a number of senior management positions at General Electric Company, including president and CEO, GE Advanced Materials Quartz and Ceramics. He currently serves on the boards of nVent and Mohawk Industries. Burris previously served on the board of Pentair PLC, Fifth Third Bank, and Schramm Inc. He also served as a retained advisor to GenNx360 Capital Partners. Burris has received numerous honors and recognitions, including Purdue University’s School of Electrical and Computer Engineering “Engineer of the Year,” Black Enterprise Magazine’s “Power in the Boardroom: The Black Corporate Directors of the S&P 500,” and Savoy Magazine’s “Top African American Corporate Board of Directors.”
