Jeffery M. Swain has served as Chairman of the Board of Burris Logistics for the past nine years and has been a member of the Board of Burris since 1996. During his tenure, the Company has advanced from a third-to-sixth generation family company, which provides a variety of logistics, transportation management, and food redistribution services on a national basis. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Draper Holdings Business Trust (DHBT) since 2016, which owns operating businesses in farming, broadcasting, and real estate development on the Delmarva Peninsula. Since 2023, Mr. Swain has served as the Lead Outside Board Member of Dynasty Management Group, which governs and oversees the 8th largest farmland management and tenant farming company in North America, the 3rd largest John Deere dealership group, and a large multi-state fuel and propane distribution business.

He previously served as a co-founder, partner, board member and the CEO of Natural Foods Holdings between 2006 and 2015 when it was sold to Perdue Farms. Natural Foods Holdings consisted of three operating entities, which were acquired and developed under the leadership of Mr. Swain: Niman Ranch, a provider of “all natural” beef, pork, lamb and processed meat products; Sioux Preme Packing, a hog harvester and fabricator satisfying the vast majority of U.S. niche pork programs; and Prairie Grove Farms, a provider of antibiotic free fresh and processed pork products.
