Jason is an Audit Partner in Ernst & Young’s New York Financial Services Office, bringing more than 20 years of experience serving a wide range of financial services clients, including alternative asset managers, securities exchanges, broker-dealers, fintech companies, cryptocurrency and digital asset service providers, and banks. He currently serves as the Innovation Lead for EY’s Financial Services Office (FSO) Assurance Practice. Throughout his career, Jason has worked on the external audits of multiple large public institutions, gaining extensive knowledge of the financial services and technology industries, as well as the relevant accounting standards that guide them.

His experience spans both public and private company reporting, including internal control reporting, agreed-upon procedures engagements, statutory reporting, broker-dealer filings, and SEC reporting such as annual and quarterly reports, proxy statements, press releases, and filings related to securities offerings. Jason has also served on the corporate and coordinating teams of several public companies, with deep expertise in SEC filings including 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and S-3 registrations, and has conducted numerous quarterly interim review procedures.

In addition, Jason has led assessments of internal control practices—both for broker-dealers and in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404—ensuring robust governance and compliance. His technical expertise extends to complex and subjective accounting issues such as accounting for digital assets, software revenue recognition, internally developed software, purchase price accounting and business combinations, share-based compensation, investment valuation, and foreign currency remeasurement and translation.
