Harriet Edelman is a senior executive and public company board director with more than thirty years of global operating experience in consumer goods and financial services. She began her career at Avon Products, Inc., where she rose to senior leadership positions spanning marketing, sales, business strategy and transformation, e-commerce, global supply chain, and information technology. Edelman has served on large public company boards in the United States and Europe for over twenty-five years.

She currently serves as Vice Chair of Emigrant Bank, and on the board of Assurant, Inc., where she chairs the Technology Committee and is a member of the Audit and Compensation & Talent Committees. She is also on the board of Brinker International, where she chairs the Talent and Compensation Committee and serves on the Audit Committee. Previously, Edelman was Chair of the Board of Bed Bath & Beyond, and has also served as an independent director for UCB, The Hershey Company, Ariba, and Blair Corporation.

In addition to her board service, Edelman has earned multiple governance credentials, including the NACD CERT Certificate for Cybersecurity Oversight for Directors, the Diligent Institute Certificate in AI Governance and Oversight, and the Diligent Institute Certificate in Human Capital, Compensation, and Culture.
