Gregory Rice is a director in BCG’s Corporate Finance and Strategy practice. Rice has more than 35 years of capital market and investment experience. His areas of expertise include shareholder advisory and activism, IPO prep, activism prep and defense, and strategic shareholder engagement. Rice works with clients in the US, Europe, and Asia, across a wide range of industries. He has supported client engagement with prominent activist investors such as ValueAct, Starboard Value, Carl Icahn, Corvex, DE Shaw, Elliot, and traditional long-only institutions. Rice has prior capital markets and investment experience with Lazard Freres & Co., Mezzacappa Management, Knott Partners, and Kellner Capital.
