D’Anne Hurd is a corporate director, SEC audit committee financial expert, and passionate climate advocate. She brings decades of executive experience—including senior financial and legal roles at GTE, PepsiCo, and six venture-backed tech startups—to her board service. Hurd has served on the boards of four public companies and seven private companies ranging from VC-backed start-ups to large established ESOPs. Hurd currently serves as an independent trustee of Impax Funds and chairs the audit committee of Martin Engineering, Inc. She also advises companies on governance, strategy, and climate regulations through her private consulting practice. A senior faculty member for the NACD, she has led more than 70 in-boardroom sessions for major US boards. She holds a JD from Duke University School of Law.
