Daniel Kendzior is a distinguished leader in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, serving as the Global Data & AI Security Practice Lead at Accenture. With a track record of driving large-scale security transformations, he has been instrumental in shaping the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk management for Fortune 500 companies across life sciences, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
At Accenture, Daniel has rebuilt the Data & AI Security practice, spearheading initiatives in data protection, zero-trust architectures, generative AI security, and deepfake resilience. He is at the forefront of enabling organizations to adopt AI securely, leveraging his expertise to implement cutting-edge security frameworks that align with business objectives.
Beyond Accenture, Daniel is a recognized thought leader and a member of the World Economic Forum’s AI & Cyber Initiative and the NIST AI Safety Consortium. His contributions to industry discourse include publications on AI security governance, cybersecurity strategy, and the secure deployment of generative AI. His strategic insights have also shaped pre- and post-merger cybersecurity planning for multinational corporations.
Previously, Daniel held key cybersecurity leadership roles at Siemens and PwC, where he led product security, identity and access management programs, enterprise security transformations, and global IT strategies. His early career at Motorola honed his expertise in software configuration and security architecture.
Daniel holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering and Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has completed the Responsible AI Program at Stanford University.
