Chris Martin is a principal in the RMS Financial Consulting practice. He serves clients both in the New England market and nationally, principally in the life sciences, technology, and business and professional services industries. Martin is a member of the RSM national life sciences industry team and is the Financial Consulting service line leader for life sciences. He supports and leads a wide variety of projects including capital markets readiness and implementation support projects, general accounting advisory support for public companies, revenue recognition (ASC 606), accounting for business combinations, asset acquisitions (including IPR&D), complex debt and equity instruments, share-based payments, and research and development agreements. Previously, Martin was the corporate controller at T2 Biosystems, Inc. and assistant corporate controller at Steward Health Care System. Martin also has more than 14 years of experience in the commercial assurance practices at Ernst & Young LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP.
