Bill Gaetz, a Financial Consulting partner with RSM US LLP, brings over 17 years of public accounting experience. He has overseen audit and consulting engagements for a diverse range of public and private companies, from small, pre-revenue start-ups to large, multinational organizations with revenues exceeding $5 billion. As the RSM Capital Markets National leader, Gaetz oversees a team of professionals who support pre-initial public offering (IPO) entities through the IPO process as well as other significant capital markets transactions, including special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) mergers and 144a debt security offerings. He also assists clients in solving various technical accounting problems including revenue recognition, lease accounting, complex debt and equity transactions, business combinations, and compensation-related transactions. Gaetz collaborates with other RSM consulting practices such as technology, risk management, and transaction advisory, to develop custom integrated solutions for his clients’ unique business challenges. He also serves as an instructor of the firm’s internal training programs, focusing primarily on technical accounting matters.
