Ben Holzemer is a Partner at TPG and the Global Head of Human Capital, based in San Francisco. Under his leadership the firm’s human capital team partners with TPG’s investment professionals and portfolio company leaders around the world to build great businesses with strong management teams and governance. Prior to joining TPG, Ben was a Partner at Spencer Stuart where he served as the co-head of the North American region. In his time with the firm, he oversaw the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice in the Americas, led the firm’s Silicon Valley office, and spent time based in the Sao Paulo office working across the Latin America region. His client work focused on board, CEO, and top leadership searches, as well as management assessment and succession planning work for large public companies, private equity-backed companies, and growth-stage companies with a focus on the TMT sector. Prior to Spencer Stuart, Ben spent ten years as an entrepreneur, co-founding and leading two growth-stage technology companies. Ben is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, with degrees in Political Science and Latin American Studies. Ben serves on the boards of Nintex and the Commonwealth Club World Affairs of California.
