Rajesh Arora serves as the Vice President-Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Principal Financial Group^®, where he leads the enterprise-wide strategy for data and analytics, driving business transformation through data-driven decision-making. In this role, Rajesh oversees artificial intelligence, data governance, data architecture, and analytics to enhance revenue growth, operational efficiency, and risk management.

With over two decades of experience in enterprise technology and data leadership, Rajesh has led large-scale digital transformations, cloud migrations, and data modernization initiatives. Prior to joining Principal, he held senior leadership roles at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), where he spearheaded multi-year technology investment roadmaps, implemented enterprise analytics platforms, and optimized customer experience solutions using AI and cloud technologies.
Rajesh’s expertise spans data strategy, AI-driven analytics, cloud computing, enterprise architecture, and regulatory compliance. He is passionate about fostering a data-centric culture and mentoring future technology leaders. He holds a Masters in Management Information Systems from Louisiana State University, MBA in Finance from Punjab University, along with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College. He earned his General Management Program Diploma from Harvard Business School.
