Boards: Elizabeth Dole Foundation 

Wayne Peacock is the vice chair of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, the leading voice for veteran and military caregivers. He is an advisory board member of the Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership & Ethics at Duke University and cochair of the NACD 2025 Blue Ribbon Commission on Corporate Governance. 

Wayne previously served as USAA’s president and CEO during his 36-year career at the company. He has held numerous leadership roles and has been a member of the executive council since 2006. Prior to becoming CEO in February 2020, he was president of USAA’s Property and Casualty Insurance Group, the fifth-largest auto insurance carrier in the United States.  

Previous board service includes the American Property Casualty Insurance Association, The Institutes, Insurance Information Institute, San Antonio Economic Development Foundation, and Alamo Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
