Leppert has led major corporations in construction, financial services, homebuilding, real estate, and education, including serving as CEO of the Turner Corp., the nation’s largest general builder; Kaplan Inc.; and Castle & Cooke Properties. He was elected mayor of Dallas in 2007, was a principal with management consulting firm McKinsey & Co., and was a White House Fellow.
Leppert has served on a variety of corporate boards on three continents, including Fluor Corp., as chair of Austin Industries, and as chair of the NACD North Texas Chapter.
He graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College and holds a master’s degree in business administration with distinction from Harvard Business School.
Leppert is a noted speaker and appears regularly in the national media. Recognitions include CEO of the Year by D Magazine and Distinguished Business Leader Award by the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Association of Business.
