Ludwig is a strategic board director and governance leader with a proven record of business transformation, including the successful sale of a public company. As board chair and acting CEO of the NACD Philadelphia Chapter, she has driven membership growth, elevated governance education, and strengthened board leadership.
Previously, Ludwig was a senior executive at Macy’s with profit and loss accountability of $600 million, leading more than 3,000 employees in major markets, and spearheading mergers and acquisitions integrations, digital transformation, and supply chain optimization. She made history as the first woman to lead Macy’s Herald Square flagship.
Ludwig serves as board chair of a private company in Ireland, advisory board member at Drexel’s Governance Institute, trustee at Moravian University, and executive in residence at Villanova University. She also chairs Broad Street Angels, advancing early-stage companies and championing women’s leadership, work for which she received the POWER Advocacy Award.
