Ken Denman is a managing director at Sway Ventures. He was president and CEO of Emotient from 2012 to 2016. He also served as a director of Openwave Systems from 2004 to 2011 and as CEO from 2008 to 2011. He was CEO and president of iPass from 2001 to 2008 and served as a director from 2001 to 2008 and as chair from 2003 to 2008.

Denman is a member of the board of directors of Costco Wholesale Corp. and previously served on the boards of LendingClub Corp. and VMware.

Previously, Denman served as a director of the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association and as a director of United Online Inc.

Denman is a board member of the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and is the chair of the University of Washington Foundation’s board of directors. He is also a trustee of Seattle Children’s Hospital.
