Daniel’s career is testimony to her reputation as a recognized financial expert and business leader. Currently, Daniel serves as an independent director on several corporate boards, including Snap-on Tools, where she chairs the organization and executive compensation committee; Commerce Bancshares, where she is lead independent director, chairs the governance/directors committee, and serves on the audit and risk committee; and Giant Eagle, where she is chair of the audit committee and serves on the governance, nominating and compensation committees.

Daniel has held executive roles at KPMG, where she was a senior audit manager, and at Black & Veatch, where she was promoted in 2000 to chief financial officer. Later, she was president of the global finance and technology solutions division and was elected to the board of directors in 2006.

Throughout her career, Daniel has promoted communicating the importance of independent thinking, value creation, and talent development.
