Turgal provides cyber-threat expertise and education to C-suite executives, audit committees, and boards of directors. He has significant experience in complex cybersecurity and -information technology, physical- and cyber-influenced business risk strategies, cyber-crisis resilience and response, and other strategies for the public and private sector.
Turgal spent three years in cyber-risk practice at Deloitte after 22 years at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Turgal served as FBI special agent, attorney, and pilot on the FBI director’s personal staff and provided executive guidance and support to protective details for the director and US attorney general. In 2003, he began working in cyber investigations and designing the Cyber Crime Taskforce in Cincinnati. Turgal was special agent in charge of the Arizona field office during national crisis issues and chief human capitol officer. He culminated his career as executive assistant director of global information technology and FBI chief information officer.
