Gregory co-chairs Sidley Austin LLP’s global corporate governance practice and co-leads its environmental, social, and governance and crisis management teams. She advises boards and senior executives on governance structure, fiduciary duties, risk oversight, CEO transitions, shareholder activism, and other sensitive matters. Gregory is a founding trustee, chair, and past president of the American College of Governance Counsel and an elected member of the American Law Institute. She advised the Business Roundtable, International Corp. for Assigned Names and Numbers, European Commission, and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and played a leading role in drafting OECD Principles of Corporate Governance and NACD Key Agreed Principles.

Gregory is a former chair of the American Bar Association’s corporate governance committee and has served on numerous NACD Blue Ribbon Commissions. Recognized as one of the NACD Directorship 100™ for 19 consecutive years, she received Corporate Secretary’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021.
