Helen is a seasoned public company board director and executive leader, recognized for her expertise in financial oversight, corporate governance, and scaling disruptive technologies. As audit chair for Eventbrite (and formerly for Marqeta), she provides critical guidance on financial strategy, risk management, and compliance. 

Helen’s experience is rooted in her executive roles as chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Google’s X, the Moonshot Factory. There, she leads a diverse portfolio of businesses, spearheading X’s investment strategy, and shaping breakthrough technologies into viable businesses. She also serves on the boards of Alphabet companies Wing and Intrinsic.

Previously, Helen held leadership roles in finance and strategy across Google. Her career began in strategy consulting at Boston Consulting Group and investment banking at Morgan Stanley.

Helen is a passionate advocate for wildlife conservation and previously served on the board of WildAid.
