Houdart founded the Association of LGBTQ+ Corporate Directors and serves as its executive director. He is also the board chair of the Institute for Current World Affairs and a cofounder of Koppa, the LGBTI+ Economic Power Lab, which is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex+ (LGBTQ+) economic empowerment in the Global South. He also serves on L'Oréal's Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Board.
Houdart has more than 20 years of experience at the World Bank and United Nations, where he served in the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and coauthored the UN Corporate Standards of Conduct for Business—the largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex corporate social responsibility initiative supported by more than 500 major global companies. He is a recognized specialist in human rights and corporate social responsibility, with expertise in LGBTQ+ economic inclusion.
