Bixby has been consulting in executive and director compensation since 1998. He consults with boards of directors and management on a range of topics, including the design and assessment of executive and director pay programs, pay and performance alignment, and corporate governance.

He has worked with private and public companies, consulting across a range of industries and company sizes. He has particular expertise in oil and gas, the broader energy sector, and engineering and construction.

Bixby has been a frequent speaker and writer on executive compensation topics. He is a certified executive compensation professional and a member of the advisory board for the NACD Texas TriCities Chapter.

From Rice University, Bixby holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a Master of Business Administration from Jones Graduate School of Business.
