As national managing principal of corporate governance within BDO’s National Professional Practice, Amy founded and directs BDO’s Center for Corporate Governance, overseeing the firm’s communications and governance efforts. Amy has more than 30 years of experience in the accounting and auditing profession, engaging with financial reporting executives, audit committees, board members, and professional organizations focused on audit quality and sound governance practices in support of capital markets. 

Amy leads a collaborative effort, providing continual thought leadership, mentoring, and educational opportunities across broad corporate governance, as well as reporting topics of interest. This includes live and on-demand webinars, a podcast series, in-person board of director forums and presentations, external speaking engagements aimed at current and aspiring board members, and the development of governance practice aids, surveys, publications, and alerts.
