Allan Thygesen is CEO of Docusign. Since joining in 2022, Allan has led Docusign from e-signature and contract life-cycle management to intelligent agreement management. Today, more than 1.7 million customers and more than a billion users in more than 180 countries use Docusign.

Before Docusign, Allan was president of Americas & Global Partners at Google, leading the company’s more than $100 billion advertising business throughout North and South America. Before that, he served as the president of Google Marketing Solutions, overseeing the global midmarket and small advertiser business with millions of customers.

Earlier in his career, Allan was a managing director and partner of The Carlyle Group, where he led start-up investments in e-commerce, enterprise software, and more. He has held executive positions in several public and private companies, including Wink Communications Inc. He currently serves on the board of directors of global shipping leader A. P. Moller Maersk.
