The budding cannabis industry is one that has long been ripe for explosion, awaiting the day that cannabis is federally legalized. Greenlane Holdings, based in Boca Raton, Fla., which last year merged with KushCo Holdings, is just one example of a cannabis-focused public company that is navigating ongoing legal and policy challenges in the hope of striking gold—or green, that is.
