About The Event
Private Company Digital Transformation Series: Emerging Risks and Governance in Artificial Intelligence (A discussion on how you can seed transformational automation as a boardroom.)
This second panel in our three-panel series on digital transformation will dive deeply on AI and ML. Our panelists will share insights on how and where AI/ML is being deployed within their business processes and customer/user experience. They will also discuss decision-making and governance around AI/ML investments and how the AI/ML-generated data is stored, managed, and retained.
The next decade is predicted to bring tremendous opportunities and challenges to businesses and society, and technology tools will be deployed to take advantage and manage this innovation. Armed with access to new technologies including Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), blockchain, and robotics process automation (RPA), traditional industries are reimagining technological solutions to business challenges to reduce cost, increase controls, delight customers, and deliver new products and services.
Directors who recognize their responsibilities in advising and governing management’s successful implementation of AI/ML transformation initiatives will want to actively assess their oversight role. Those who should attend would be current and/or aspiring private company directors seeking to learn more about AI/ML and other digital transformation activities and the opportunities and/or risks they present in implementation and governance.
Our experts for this second panel include board directors, C-Suite executives, and private investors representing different non-traditional industries, such as food, health care, and manufacturing, where technology transformation often comes at a slower pace than in traditional tech firms.
Traci Gusher, Partner at EY and AI/ML expert, will moderate a discussion which will include Tara Levine, Foodtech expert and Independent Board Director of Repsly; Pam Reeve, Independent Director of American Tower and Peter Hutton, Edtech expert and Founder and CEO at theProjectLab.
